The first ever SeaTweetup Cruise on Norwegian Sky
The first ever Tweetup at sea – named the SeaTweetup Cruise – will be at the Norwegian Cruise Line. Managed by members of the South Florida social media community, the cruise liner makes its way on Friday, 18 November 2011 from Miami and will schedule sail on a three-day weekend getaway to the Bahamas coming back on Monday, 21 November.

The social-savvy voyage will make available for social media fans to meet onboard and take part in unique networking events featuring social media promotion groups and conversations. Partakers will also have access to the liner’s Wi-Fi network, at the same time as invitations to special in-port events to post, blog and tweet throughout the weekend.
The one-of-a-kind SeaTweetup Cruise allows users of Tweeter to share their experiences with their followers, as they develop and strengthen relationships and initiate new ones.
Together with designed group activities, holidaymakers can enjoy the liner’s features. The 2,002-passenger Norwegian Sky has 10 dining restaurants; over 10 bars and lounges; casino; spa and fitness centre; and duty-free shops. Moreover, after a long day of tweeting, passengers can dance the night away at the White Hot Party, the Norwegian Cruise Line’s mark dance party.
