In a Lisbon museum of Galusta Gjulbenkjana (Museu Calouste Gulbenkian) there passes an exhibition “Art Deco, 1925″. As appears from the name, it is devoted the Parisian exhibition Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes (the International exhibition of modern industrial and decorative arts) which has given a life to the term “ar-deko”.
The exposition includes 150 works: jewels Van Cleef and Arpels, Cartier, Chaumet and Boucheron, porcelain, ceramics, products from glass Baccarat and Lalique, Corbusier’s painting, Lezhe and Lorensen, silver Christofle from private collections of France and Portugal, a sculpture of Zhano and Zhozefa Bernard, furniture. More than third of exhibits – the subjects exposed in 1925 in the French capital.

At an exhibition sculptures “Spring” and “Dedication, in particular, are presented Jean Guzhonu” by Alfreda Ogjusta Zhano. These works have been got by Galustom Gjulbenkjanom and stood outside of pavilion Hôtel du Collectioneur, informs site Gulbenkian.pt.
The exhibition works till January, 3rd, 2010. To visit her it is possible from Tuesday on Sunday. Cost of tickets – 5 euros.
